About Me

Hello my name is Gemma and I’m the founder of Permanent Makeup Nottingham.  I am an award-winning permanent makeup artist.

I choose permanent makeup as a career because it combines my passion for helping people, with my love of all things creative.  I see permanent makeup as a form of art for the face.  One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is the happiness it brings to peoples’ lives.  For some people it is literally life changing.

My Training

My training was undertaken with Katy Jobbins, who is widely renowned to be one of the UK’s leading permanent makeup artists. I had one-to-one training with Katy, where she taught me the art of doing permanent makeup, naturally and safely.

Alongside the technical aspects of microblading and tattooing, I am also trained in advanced skincare and healing, colour theory, advanced colour correction, infection prevention, health and safety and first aid.
